LEGACY DONATION

Alternatively you may be interested in leaving a legacy donation to us. When people choose to leave a gift in their will – also called a legacy donation – to a charity of their choice, they can continue to help a cause that's close to their hearts.

You are able to choose exactly what you leave to 3D Drumchapel, and if monetary you can chose how this will be spent. Whatever you choose to donate, it will make a huge difference.

If you do decide to make or review a will, or you just want a bit more information, there are a couple of places here and here where you can get useful information and advice

If you would like to leave a gift to 3D Drumchapel in your Will, there are three main ways to do this. Here we explain the three ways, as well as the information you need to include in your Will to make sure we receive your kind gift.

A share of your estate:

Many people choose to leave a share of their estate to charity - this can be a percentage of what is left over once loved ones are provided for or it can be any percentage you like.

Fixed sum of money:

You can choose to leave a fixed sum of money, also known as a pecuniary gift.

Gift of a specific item

You can also choose to leave a particular item to us, such as a piece of jewellery, or even an antique. A gift like this should be named in your Will.

For example:

I give to 3D Drumchapel of 320 Kinfauns Drive, Drumchapel, G15 7HA, Charity Registration Number: SC236098, [description of item(s)/estate/donation] absolutely for its general purposes and I direct that the receipt of the Treasurer or other duly authorised officer shall be a sufficient discharge to my Executors.

Remember to include our full name, address and registered charity number:

  • 3D Drumchapel, 320 Kinfauns Drive, Drumchapel, G15 7HA

  • Registered Charity Number SC236098 (Scotland).
